January 2024 Happy New Year! We are so excited about what 2024 and what it has in store for us!

The times, they are a changing and with that I will be making some major changes myself regarding the salon and my functions as an owner and stylist.

As I enter my 20th year behind the chair and 10th year as a salon owner (what even is time though) I will be shifting focus on what truly drives my passion for this industry, making people feel really good about themselves, inside and out. Which in turn makes me feel really good about myself, inside and out – a little self serving is necessary in this life! My main goal with these changes is to be able to continue doing hair and running my business for the next 20+ years and in order to do so, changes need to be made so I don’t burnout or lose the passion I have for this industry that has given me so much. I know no one is me, just like no one is you but I have talented employees who are willing and ready to help you and your hair when I am unavailable. They would not be here if I didn’t trust them to deliver the same value and experience I do for you. I only ask for you patience and grace as I navigate this new way of life for me. Soooooo, what does this mean? Lemme fill ya in! Schedule – I will be working 1-2 Tuesdays a month and one evening (Wednesday till 8/9pm) a week. Thursday, Friday and Saturday will only differ slightly from current schedule. I will be in the salon just as often as I ever was but will not be behind the chair as much. This is my opportunity to run my business and build it to benefit all of us, clients included. Please scroll down to see full updated schedule. Price increase – There will be an overall price increase like we do every year, additionally my service prices will differ slightly from everyone else in the salon. Updated pricing for my services will be posted here as well as the salon Instagram. Most likely in the stories and archived in the Story Highlights. This goes into effect March 1, 2024. Service offerings – I will be shifting my focus to cutting/styling, wellness/scalp & hair health. I will absolutely still be offering coloring services but taking minimal new color clients through the year. Late/Cancelation Policy – My time is my money. I am more than understanding that life happens but if lateness or cancelations become habitual, you will forfeit all future appointments with me. I will be posting more detail about these rules on the website soon. This will be implemented by the entire salon and as each hairstylist sees fit to their own schedule. Service bartering – Money can be a strange energy exchange and this is something I have always wanted to do. Do you offer a service/product I might enjoy? Bring it to the table and we can discuss a bartering system that works for both of us. I realize this is a lot of info, thank you for making it this far. I am, as always here to answer any questions.
